Abstract
Cybersecurity is the second emergency in Europe just after the climate changes. Everyday most of the small, medium and big enterprises are under attacks. In 2016, 45% of the Italian companies experienced a cyber attack. This scenario requires, on one side, new security solutions protecting against misbehaviors/malicious attacks and, on the other side, a continuous assurance process based on compliance evaluating the target of the protection against new threats. This seminar presents Moon Cloud, a Cloud PaaS solution providing customizable assurance based on compliance for Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) systems, including public and private cloud systems and IoT environments. Moon Cloud permits to achieve security governance of a complex ICT system in a unique and secure fashion.
Marco Anisettiis an Assistant Professor at the Università degli Studi di Milano. His research interests are in the area of Computational Intelligence and its application to the design of complex systems and services. More in details he investigates/has investigated the adoption of advanced techniques based on Kalman filters, rough sets and fuzzy set theories for: i) low-level functionalities like display management, advanced image processing and mobile geolocation, and ii) high-level applications in the areas of Humanized Computing, Human Machine Interaction and Ambient Intelligence. Recently, he has been investigating the adoption of Computational Intelligence techniques in the area of security mechanisms for distributed systems, with particular consideration of Cloud and SOA security and software/service certification where Computational Intelligence provides new notions of ordering and matching of security properties. He has published several papers in journals and conference proceedings, and has served in the program committee of several international conferences in the area of network and information security and geo-location. He is currently working in the FP7 EU Project ASSERT4SOA where he is studying and defining a test-based certification scheme for services and SOAs and on CUMULUS project in which he is studying the definition of a certification scheme of non-functional properties for services in cloud environment.
